ABOUT

HBPin3 was launched in september 2020 as a joint project between four institutions :

Institut d’Histoire des Représentations et des Idées dans les Modernités (IHRIM, UMR 5317), a mixed research unit of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) situated at the Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon (ENS de Lyon).

Maison Française d’Oxford (MFO, UMIFRE 11, USR 3129), a research unit which is part of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and the French Ministry for European and Foreign Affairs.

British Society for the History of Philosophy (BSHP). The society, launched in 1984, is a registered charity, which exists to promote and foster all aspects of the study and teaching of the history of philosophy.

Labex COMOD, University of Lyon. Created in 2011 as a “Program for Future Investment,” the project regroups five research centers (IHRIM, IRPHIL, LARHRA, LEM-CERCORD, TRIANGLE). Its mission is to analyze – in an interdisciplinary and historical mode – the civic platform of European democracies.

The platform is maintained by Dr. Mogens Lærke, senior researcher (directeur de recherche) at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). The structuration of the website and the customization of the webdesign is made in collaboration with Maud Ingarao (IHRIM, UMR 5317, ENS de Lyon). Anne-Sophie Gabillas (MFO, Oxford) helped with the French Powerpoint presentation.
